Today I traded from the 1 min chart and the 5 sec chart. 50 cents per pip. Monday will be 10 cents per pip.

It's very evident that I don't know how to be a profitable trader. I'm very lost. I have lots of trading concepts in my head but how am I to tie them together into profitable results?

I can play the high % win game but my losses are too big. I can play the low % win game but I take too many entries to find the runner. I've beaten myself up in the market now to where I'm going to have to trade small to tiny size again until I figure something out and as of now there is no light at the end of the tunnel.

What needs to click in my head!?

My level of trading frustration is at an all time high. I need to think very deeply about what is holding me back from consistent profitability. I'm constantly seesawing between BE and Loss over and over and over and over and over again.

For those following my blog in the USA have a nice 4th of July weekend! For those following my blog outside of the USA have a great weekend as well =)

Today I traded very poorly. I surfed the web too much and I became complacent in my trading. The last trade shows how quickly I exited a profitable trade for literally no reason. Gotta check myself and trade better for the remainder of the week.

I didn't feel I could take any good entries today and the market simply got away from me. The second trade was basically just a total gamble from frustration of not finding any good entries prior. I don't care that I gambled because the size was insignificant and I simply don't gamble if I'm trading with larger size.

Considering the craziness that ensued after my first trade I took my size down to only $1 per pip on my last 3 trades. This ended up being a good decision and the biggest reason I ended positive on the day.

Frankly I'm surprised that I'm up $17. I didn't look at my p&l at any point until I was finished trading for the day. My trade size changed between $1 or $3 per pip. I had to leave for work earlier than usual so my trading day ended early as well. See ya tomorrow. WORD.

or something like that

5.20.11

I made cents or a dollar or something like that... by the time I woke up and the trading screen going the major moves were complete and I was left with scraps. I reduced my trade size to 50 cents per pip. Gotta stop doin' the BS that leads me to having trouble waking up early. WORD.

Have a nice weekend ya'll.

I didn't feel particularly confident about any trade today so I continued to keep my trade size small.

Another day of hardly any trading. Gotta start forcing myself to get up early again so that my body can adjust to the sleep cycle.

Off to the day job. Here is how the day went for me.

I'm fairly disappointed that I allowed myself to get shaken out of my last trade of the day too early. I made numerous other mistakes today but I don't have time to go through them because I'm off to my day job. WORD =)

I only took one trade because it happened to be there during the short time that I was able to trade today.

I didn't trade my full time slot but while I was trading I didn't make any trades.

My triumphant (sarcasm) return to trading! But in all seriousness I'm back to the daily grind and enjoying it. WORD.

The only thing I'm good at right now it seems is reducing my trade size as I continue to lose money. I pretty much feel lost as a trader and will reduce my size again tomorrow. Obviously there are key concepts that I haven't learned. Perhaps I'm aware of all the key concepts but don't know how to put them together in a consistently profitable fashion. Regardless, I know there are people whom win at this game consistently and I'm determined to eventually be one of them.

A tough day for me to find entries and when I did I got stuck with price going no where and eventually my stop was hit.
